Who doesn’t like a parade?
This year’s parade theme is Team Blackburn! 2024 is an Olympic year so let’s celebrate the games, and sports of all types, right here in our community!
We would love to see all the parade supporters in their best sport-themed attire to cheer on our parade participants. Our organising team is hard at work to make this a great parade. The parade always brings out a big crowd of Friends, Neighbors, Businesses, all showing their local pride along the 45-minute parade route.
Start Location: Louis-Riel High School in Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa, ON
End Location: Blackburn Community Center at 190 Glen Park Drive in Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa, ON
Hours: Saturday 10:00 am
Ticket Info: Free!
Please bring a non-perishable food donation that will be picked up by volunteers walking on either side of the parade route. All items will be donated to our local Blackburn Hamlet Food Bank.

New for 2024: The Blackburn Hamlet Funfair Bike Parade! 🚲
Kids, let your creativity shine as you decorate your bikes in this year’s parade theme!
Kids 10 and under are invited to meet at Louis-Riel at 9:45 AM (right before the parade starts). Prizes will be award for best bike (10 and under) and best trike!
