Giving back to our community

Ever wonder where all that money spent on tickets, rides, food and everything else goes when you come to the Funfair?

A good portion of that revenue goes straight back to the community.

After paying for expenses, the 2022 Blackburn Funfair committee raised over $15,000 for local groups operating in Blackburn Hamlet.

All Funfair committee roles receive honorariums which can be donated to the charity of their choice. Have a group you cherish that could use some financial support? Volunteering with the Funfair might be a great way to help.

So next time you come to the fair – know that your financial support is helping provide support for those things closest to you in our community.

Funfair thanks to PharmaChoice and Frangian Family

The Blackburn Funfair offers its heartfelt thanks to local business PharmaChoice and the Frangian Family for their $1000 donation to this year’s 50th Anniversary Funfair June 3-5. Their donation will go toward sponsoring Little Ray’s Reptile exhibit at the arena during the weekend showcase.

Are you a business looking to support your local community? Consider reaching out to Trish Cloutier at sponsorship@blackburnfunfair.ca if you’d like to offer some financial support, silent auction donation or other help for this year’s fair.
